FAQs

Where do you ship?

We ship worldwide. We offer free standard delivery on all orders within the UK, whilst international shipping costs £15. If you require express international shipping or a same day courier service (UK only) contact us on hello@the-collectibles.com and we will do everything we can to accommodate your needs.

Are your products authentic?

We offer a money back authenticity guarantee on all of the products we stock. We have years of experience in dealing with luxury goods and rigorously check all items before listing them for sale.

What kind of quality are your items?

We aim to provide high quality vintage and pre-loved items. We rarely sell items with major defects that would have a rating lower than "good". Please note that the majority of our items have had a past life and are not in 'brand new' condition, therefore some signs of wear are to be expected. That said, we inspect each item thoroughly and are committed to providing as much information as possible about each item's condition. Please carefully read our description and inspect our photos thoroughly before purchasing an item. If you have any queries about the state of a garment, please do not hesitate to contact us. We price all of our items to reflect their level of wear.

How does sizing work?

Each of our product listings includes a marked size and further sizing advice including measurements. The marked size comes from the garment and should only be used if you are familiar with other items from that brand, and from the same time period. In the case that we list a range of sizes, we estimate that it will fit anyone within that range, but with a different look, e.g. if an item is marked XS - M it will have an oversized look for smaller sizes and a form-fitting look for larger sizes. We find that some items we come across can be worn by a range of sizes and body types. If you have any queries about the sizing of a garment we are happy to give further information, simply email us at hello@the-collectibles.com

The measurements are the most accurate tool for understanding the size of an item. Details of how we take various measurements are listed below.

Measuring Guide:

Bust: Measured flat across the fullest part of the bust, right below the underarms and then doubled.

Waist: Measured flat across the slimmest part of the natural waistline, above the navel and below the ribcage, and then doubled.

Hip: Measured flat across the fullest area below the waist, and then doubled.

Length: Measured flat from high shoulder seam to the longest part of the hem.
